As the saying goes: “Play is a serious thing”. And we will realise this even more, because it will govern much of the logic of future consumption: in various ways, all brands must deal with this issue and with an increasing homo ludens customer base.
The game as relaxation, escape, surprise, an alternative experience to the real world (sometimes surreal). Play to overcome the limits of the everyday, time and space. Play as freedom to be, do and become.
