The expo dedicated to the hotel sector, organized by IEG (Italian Exhibition Group), with main partners including the Federalberghi, ADA and EHMA associations, this year hosts a series of appointments, with qualified experts, aimed at ensuring in-depth coverage of various aspects connected with the design, planning and management of a wellness area in accommodation facilities.

Architect Stefano Pediconi, will speak on ´SPAs in hotels´ starting from the premise that ´it is not enough to fill the spaces, it is not sufficient to decide whether to include a sauna, Turkish bath or both. Sandro Baronti (SPAISWONDERFUL Spa consultant) on the other hand will cover the issue of ´Management control in Spas´, to contribute to overcoming one of companies´ main critical aspect, those of the correct balance between costs incurred and revenue, with specific reference to those regarding the Spa sector. The day´s last session on the other hand will have a ´green´ slant, and will be dedicated to ´Spa equipment and energy saving´, with Luigi Turlini, owner of IWC (Italian Wellness Company). On Friday 13th October Anna Rita Di Giacomo, Spa Director at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Milan will dedicate a speech to the topic ´Management in SPAs, innovation and tradition in treatments, the new horizons of wellness: Mental Wellness´.

In the context of the workshop, 15 teams of selected designers will be invited to present their designs to a commission made up of journalists.

On Friday 13th and Saturday 14th October the first courses organized by ADAM (Mineral Water Tasters Association) with Fiera di Rimini will be held. The association´s ´water sommeliers´ will guide attendees in the discovery of mineral water, to help to know how to highlight it with meals, combining it with the food. Italians are the world´s largest drinkers of mineral water, but for the majority of the consumers water remains a ´great unknown commodity´ which ADAM and SIA Guest will contribute to help (re)discovering. Open tasting sessions will be held on all three days of SIA Guest. The courses are open to everybody, subject to joining the ADAM Association.
